Stephen is a first generation Filipino American writer-director based in
New York City.
For three years he worked closely with Magnum photographer Jim Goldberg
before becoming an MFA Candidate at
Columbia University’s Graduate Film Program.
His first year film, TOUCH, premiered at the 2015 Los Angeles Film Festival and also played in the 2016 International Competition at Clermont-Ferrand.
Stephen recently received a grant from The David Ross Fetzer Foundation for Emerging Artists for his new film, The Sound of Coins Hitting Brass.
